I am from Vienna, Austria, and moved to Plano, Texas, in July 2016, right after I got married to my American husband David. Before moving to Texas I taught at an international school in Vienna for several years. I was thrilled when I found out that there is a German school in Dallas and started teaching at GISD in 2017. It is very important to me that the students enjoy learning and keep their natural curiosity for exploring new things. One of the things I’m passionate about is teaching my students through music. It’s amazing to see all the things children learn by “just singing songs”. They not only learn about music, sounds and rhythm, they learn new vocabulary, language concepts, build self-confidence, patience, have fun, and form relationships.
