- Master of Arts in Sociology, focus on Migration Studies & Youth and Family Sociology (2016) (University of Potsdam, Germany)
- Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences for Intercultural Relations (2012) (Fulda University of Applied Sciences, Germany)
Experience:
Work experience in various fields including working as an Au Pair in Massachusetts, children’s gymnastics teacher, customer service, international education & student-exchange programs. I started working at German ISD in March 2018 as a pre-school lead-teacher. I am the German Kindergarten lead teacher since beginning of the school year 2019/20.
Hobbies: walking my dog, exercise outdoors, traveling

Simone Teague
GERMAN TEACHER
Degree: Certified Social Pedagogue and Social Worker with a Bachelor from the University of Applied Sciences in Wuerzburg/Germany (2002)
Experience: Work experience in various fields, including working as a Social Worker in the area of child and youth welfare, in homeless shelters with teenagers and young adults, as well as special education and curative education. I worked in an after-school care center for children 6 to 16 years. And was an in-home daycare provider for children 12 months to 10 years and worked close together with the Youth Welfare office.
Before moving to Texas, I worked in a residential home for children and young adults.
I started working at German ISD in August 2013 as a pre-school lead teacher, as a lead teacher in the toddler class, as well as the pre-k class.
I am the Kindergarten/Lower Elementary teacher since the beginning of the school year 2020/21.
Hobbies: spending time with my family, traveling, crafting and crocheting.
My Courses: Finki, Entenland (early math program for pre-s), Kids-Fit, Zahlenland (early math program for pre-k), Buchstala (German language program pre-K)
