Background
GERMAN ISD is the only German Immersion Program in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex teaching children from 12 months to 5th grade. The school was founded in 2009 as a non-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization in the State of Texas. The school has operated with a financial surplus since its founding and does not have to rely on government funding to cover its cost.
Today the school employs 15 certified educators and provides more than 80 children with a learning environment deeply rooted in the German culture and education system yet encouraging the development of a global perspective.
